Who is behind the Knowledge Portal?
A joint commitment to childhood cancer support.

About us
Globally, every year, it is estimated that more than 400,000 children are diagnosed with cancer
Childhood Cancer International (CCI) is the world’s largest patient support organisation for childhood cancer, representing more than 200 member groups over 100 countries, in 6 regions. As the global voice of children with cancer, survivors, and families, CCI works to reduce inequalities in access to care and to strengthen support systems at local, national, and global levels.
CCI, through its global network in six regions, supports their member organisations in reducing treatment abandonment, improving access to care, and strengthening quality of life and support throughout the childhood cancer experience. Our programmes include support for Home Away From Home facilities near treatment centers, nutrition training and initiatives, advocacy and awareness activities, and capacity-building opportunities that strengthen patient organisations and survivor groups. CCI also fosters learning and collaboration through its annual global conference and regional conferences across all six regions, creating opportunities to share knowledge, exchange experiences, and promote best practices.
